Anyone who’s taken the Lincoln Tunnel into Manhattan knows the feeling—the build-up through traffic, the descent beneath the Hudson River, and that moment you emerge into the energy of New York City. It’s a route tied to daily commutes, first trips into the city, and late nights heading home across the river.

Our Lincoln Tunnel NY/NJ tee captures that iconic connection between New Jersey and Midtown Manhattan. Inspired by the historic crossing that’s carried millions into the city, this design represents the miles that link two states through one unforgettable route.

Made from a soft cotton/poly blend, this tee is lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for everyday wear. If you’re not sure on fit, go one size up. lightweight classic-fit tee blends soft, combed ring-spun cotton with polyester for a smooth, breathable feel you’ll reach for again and again. The front graphic pairs a stylized Abraham Lincoln portrait with an urban skyline and the bold word “TUNNEL,” giving the shirt a vintage-meets-street aesthetic that reads like a quiet commentary — thoughtful, a little irreverent, and unmistakably expressive. Wear it on city walks, at history-themed meetups, or when you want a conversation-starting layer that’s comfortable all day. The ribbed collar and self fabric shoulder tape keep the silhouette neat wash after wash, while the tear-away label and light fabric make it easy to layer or relax in.

Frequently asked questions

What makes Roads & Routes Apparel different from other t-shirt brands?

Our designs aren’t random graphics — they represent real roads, real bases, and real memories. Every piece is inspired by places people have driven, served, lived, and come home to. This isn’t just apparel — it’s personal.

How do your shirts fit and feel?

Our tees are made from a soft cotton/poly or tri-blend fabric that feels broken-in from day one. They’re lightweight, breathable, and built for everyday wear. They fit snug to the shoulders and arms to show off the guns, but taper off at the stomach if we haven't been doing our situps. Fit is true to size, but if you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up. Check out our size guide.

How long does shipping take?

Each item is made-to-order to ensure quality. Production typically takes 1-3  business days, followed by shipping (3–7 business days depending on your location). You’ll receive tracking as soon as your order ships.

What if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?

f your item arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund. Just contact us within 30 days with a photo of the issue and your order details.

Can I return or exchange my shirt if it doesn’t fit?

Exchanges & Returns (Read Before Ordering)

Because each item is made-to-order just for you, we’re unable to accept traditional returns or exchanges for incorrect size, color, or change-of-mind orders.

However — we’ve got your back.

If You Ordered the Wrong Size or Color

We offer a one-time courtesy replacement at a discounted rate.

  • You’ll receive a 40–50% off code to reorder the correct item
  • No need to return the original item
  • Keep it, gift it, or put it to use

This allows us to help you out without the long delays and waste of traditional returns

My Story:

Where the Road Became Something More

I spent 31 years in Brooklyn, New York. Back then, the roads didn’t mean much to me—highways, exits, street signs… just part of everyday life. Something I drove on without thinking twice.

Until I left.

That’s when everything changed.

Every trip back home became different. Slower. More intentional. I started noticing everything—the exits I used to take, the skyline in the distance, the worn pavement that had carried me through different seasons of life.

Those roads weren’t just roads anymore.

They were memories.

Late nights. Early mornings. Goodbyes. Comebacks. The moments you didn’t realize mattered until they were behind you.

Roads don’t just take you places—they take you back.

Back to where you grew up.
Back to who you used to be.
Back to moments that shaped you.

Some routes feel like freedom.
Some feel like closure.
Some feel like home.

Even as the world changes—roads get repaved, cities evolve, life moves on—those routes remain, connecting your story across time.

That realization became something bigger.

Roads & Routes Apparel was built on one simple idea:

The roads you’ve traveled are part of who you are.

Every design is inspired by real highways, real places, and real experiences. Not generic graphics—meaningful routes people recognize, remember, and feel.
